How to: French beaded flowers, miniature lilies

In the next several weeks, I will be sharing with you how to make this French beaded miniature lilies arrangement. It’s another instant gratification type of project. I love the concept of making simple and quick beaded flowers but you can combine them together to make a lovely arrangement that looks anything but simple. It is an intermediate project and I will be using the technique I developed called the Continuous Split Basic to make the petals.

Each miniature lily calls for:

  • 10 grams 11/0 white seed beads
  • 8 grams 11/0 green seed beads
  • 1 gram 11/0 yellow seed beads
  • 10 inches (25.4 cm) 28 gauge green copper core wire
  • 4 feet 26 gauge white copper core wire
  • 6 feet 24 gauge green copper core wire
  • 18 or 16 gauge stem wire
