French beaded flowers: bead and wire French marigold (red metamorph)
When I’m choosing flowers to plant in my garden, I’m always thinking about what I want to bead. It’s Autumn here and I’m noticing marigolds every where I go. I’m enjoying all the varieties I’m seeing. For me, I grew a French marigold called Red Metamorph. It’s such an interesting flower in that the color changes with the weather. In cooler weather, the flowers are a deep burgundy. On the other hand, there’s a range of yellow and orange splotches when the weather warms. Each flower from the same plant can be unique. I thought that is so cool! From looking at the picture of my project, can you tell when I beaded this?
