French beaded eucalyptus pattern plus lacing tip

Do you make French beaded flowers but find that you need some fillers for your beaded flower arrangements? Today, I will show you my beaded eucalyptus pattern.

For the free French beaded eucalyptus pattern and instructions, watch the video:

I’ve created two patterns for the same result. The first one can be made by beginners. The second one can be made faster by beaders who have more experience with making French beaded flower patterns. Watch my video on how to fix the “wriggly” leaves.

I love your tutorials and website.. You are a great teacher.. Ok I am so glad you showed us how to lace, by the way I love lacing makes the bead work look much better by keeping it’s shape.. Do you always lace the petals and leaves? I want to make some long thin leaves for Daylilies but they don’t keep their shape as well as shorter leaves.. do you have a tutorial for them? Thank you so much, I am just learning French Beading so any little tips and tricks are so welcomed..

Hello Fen. Making French Beaded Flowers is such a rewarding craft. Most of the ones I make are given to our local Senior Center for fund raising. I’m just finishing my Hallowe’en collection for the Sr. center. I’ve found a way to use my bugle beads of which I have pounds, literally! I do the pattern as follows(:bb (bugle beads),( sb seed bead). 2-bb, 1-sb, 4-bb, 1-sb, 4-bb, 1-sb. Fold each 4-bb, 1-sb, section in half with the sb at the top of the fold, I’m using Lauren Harpster’s Amaranth PDF pattern. Makes some beautiful flowers & I’m putting my bugle beads to good use.
