Technique Project #3, Yellow tea rose

Technique Project #3 Yellow Tea Rose –

In the last couple of weeks, we’ve delved into beginner French beading techniques. While this yellow tea rose is a little bit more complicated than the last two projects, it’s still a beginner level project. Watch the Spring Blossoms and Small Daisy videos first to get familiar with the techniques first.

In today’s video, I will show you how to make beaded flowers that stands the test of time using lacing techniques along with a reverse wrap technique.

I have the kit available in my etsy shop if you are overwhelmed with what materials to buy.

Hello: I need your help in how to “plant” a project I’m doing for a wedding gift in Aug. I have a container, heavy, clear glass in the shape of a huge goblet. It’s about 18″ tall & the bowl of the goblet is about 4 1/2″ across & 5 inches deep. I’m making flowers I want some to overhand the bowl almost like a vine & some to make a lovely bouquet coming out of the bowl. How would I anchor the heavy flowers that flow over the sides of the bowl so they don’t fall out?
